Whorouly Recreation Reserve
Requirement
The design team at SeatsPlus, who had previously collaborated with sporting facility designers, were working on another project. This time, it was with All Sheds at Whorouly Recreation Reserve, upgrading the area. They aimed to add aluminum outdoor seating to the new shelter, offering a comfortable spot for players and spectators to relax, protected from the elements.
Solution
The sporting facility designers, familiar with SeatsPlus from previous projects, knew they wanted to include the company’s bolt down benches again. These had proven successful in the past. This time, they also requested a custom scorer’s bench, designed to give scorers a stable surface for recording scores easily.
Result
The new aluminium outdoor seating has provided the perfect comfy space out of the weather for spectators and players to sit while watching or playing during netball and pickleball seasons.
The custom scorer’s bench, similar to our Bolt Down Park Setting but only one-sided, has provided the ideal surface in the perfect position for the scorers to keep match scores accurately, ensuring there are no discrepancies. The position of the bench also ensures that they are protected from the elements so their scoring materials aren’t impacted.
Having worked with the SeatsPlus team previously made the whole process easy due to the established trust and reliability of the SeatsPlus team to provide the perfect outdoor seating for their needs while delivering a high-quality service.
