Katamatite Netball Club
Requirement
The Katamatite Netball Club approached the SeatsPlus team in early 2025 with a clear vision: to upgrade their spectator seating at the local courts and enhance the game day experience for players, families, and supporters alike. Having previously worked with SeatsPlus to purchase bench seating, the club knew they could count on our team to deliver a high quality solution tailored to their needs.
With growing community interest in weekend matches, the club wanted to install grandstand seating that would accommodate more spectators in comfort. The seating needed to be practical for their dual court setup, durable enough for outdoor use, and installed ahead of the netball season.
Solution
SeatsPlus worked closely with the Katamatite Netball Club to assess the layout of the courts and determine the best positioning and size for the new grandstands. Our team proposed three different length options to fit the available space and accommodate various crowd sizes.
After reviewing the options and considering long-term needs, the club committee selected:
These grandstands provided the perfect balance of seating capacity and were ideally sized for the space available, allowing them to be positioned at the end of each court to maximise visibility and comfort for spectators.
Importantly, we also worked within the club’s budget to ensure they received a quality solution that met their needs, while remaining affordable for a small, independently run.
Result
The grandstands were delivered and professionally installed by the SeatsPlus team in time for the first round of the 2025 season. The club was thrilled with the outcome, from the collaborative planning process to the efficient installation and high-quality finish of the grandstands.
Now, Katamatite Netball Club’s supporters can enjoy every game with greater comfort and improved viewing. The new seating has added a vibrant atmosphere to match days and will serve the club for years to come.
