Gumbuya World
Requirement
Gumbuya World Theme Park in Tynong, Victoria, is one of the state’s premier family attractions, offering an exciting mix of water slides, rides, live shows and wildlife attractions.
As visitor numbers have continued to grow, the team was looking to add additional seating, with a particular interest in grandstand style seating.
Solution
Brandi from the SeatsPlus team worked with the park operations manager at Gumbuya World to understand the purpose, seating location, budget and visitor experience goals.
During the consultation, the customer called to ask if there was any way to incorporate umbrella holders into the design to provide additional shade for their visitors. Brandi worked with our in-house manufacturing team to accommodate the request, designing a custom modification to integrate umbrella holders into the rear of the grandstands.
After reviewing the options provided, Gumbuya World selected a 4m long, 3 Tier Grandstand with Back Rest, featuring three custom umbrella holders and a bright Signal Red powder coated frame and end caps to complement the park’s vibrant environment.
Result
Despite the modification to the design, this grandstand was manufactured and delivered promptly, with the order placed in November and the grandstand delivered the following month.
Gumbuya World was so impressed with the quality of the product and the customer service provided by Brandi and our team, that they returned to purchase a second grandstand with the same custom design with striking Blaze Blue powder coating. The second grandstand was manufactured and delivered earlier this year.
