Cathedral College, Wangaratta
Requirement
In need of some outdoor seating for their newly developed school grounds, Cathedral College contacted SeatsPlus to fit out their new outdoor area. The newly completed area is a modern and open space designed to be used as a place that students can spend time with their friends, eat their lunch, and enjoy outdoor learning sessions.
Solution
After reviewing the vast area and getting an understanding of what was necessary for the space, SeatsPlus implemented the Timber Seating Range, which included the Titan Timber Park Setting and the Titan bolt down benches. Made out of local Merbau hardwood, these timber park settings are designed to suit the harsh Australian outdoors, making them the perfect choice for this exposed area. The Titan Timber Park Setting also provides comfortable seating for up to 8 people, making it ideal for encouraging interaction while taking outdoor learning sessions. All seating options are powdercoated in the colour Ironstone which gave the area a sleek, modern and natural look, working cohesively with the newly developed school grounds.
Result
The students of Wangaratta’s Cathedral College are now enjoying their brand new aesthetically pleasing, modern and fully functional outdoor seating space. Students are able to comfortably hang out with their friends, enjoy their recess and lunch breaks, and even spend some time studying outdoors.
