Sumner Park, Brunswick East
Requirement
Sumner Park in Brunswick West was in desperate need of seating around their pavilion due to seeing an increase of supporters at the soccer matches held at the grounds. They wanted to provide the supporters with multiple seating options including undercover seating for rainy days.
Solution
After evaluating the area around the pavilion, it was decided that the SeatsPlus bench seating was the best option for the area. Due to wanting the multiple seating options, the seating was installed in 2 locations in front of the pavilion. The first location was up on the decking under the veranda of the pavilion to provide seating with protection for rainy days. The second location was down closer to the field this has not only provided seating for the supports but also seating for those around the park who are exercising and need rest as the path passes right by the new seating.
Result
Family and friends are now able to cheer on their team while sitting in comfort on a rainy day and those who are exercising can now take a break sit down and enjoy the view.
